Falck Nutec’s dedicated maritime centre in Peterhead allows for training to be carried out within a square mile of protected breakwater allowing our TEMPSC Twinfall coxswain, HS MOB and FRC courses access to all year round training which eliminates the dependency on weather or tidal conditions.  Practical training is further enhanced with easy access to the North Sea.

Through the creation of realistic training scenarios delegates can apply theoretical knowledge of real life situations.  Falck Nutec aims to ensure that individuals are best equipped and ready to deal with accidents, illness and injury under any circumstances, particularly in the workplace.

A large portfolio of course is available, packages are cost effective, with courses delivered at our training centers, company premises and / or offshore where delivery limits amount of time personnel require to be away from their work.

Many of our courses are HSE, OPITO and MCA approves.  In areas where HSE recommend training is undertaken, for example, Appointed Persons or Defibrillator Training a Falck Nutec certification of completion will be awarded.

With its roots firmly in the provision of safety training to all industrial sectors it is no surprise then that Falck Nutec provides a range of course specifically designed for the Aviation Industry.  A high risk industry, very tightly legislated, requires a wide range of training.  Falck Nutec provide course specifically aimed at Aircrew and Helicopter crews, personnel working in Airside operational areas and those handling baggage and cargo who require dangerous good training.

Falck Nutec believes that training should be as practical and realistic as possible.  At our UK Centers fire training is carried out in Aberdeen by BAA operational fire brigade personnel and in Teesside at Serco’s International Fire Training Centre.

Our highly regarded and qualified instructors are experiences firefighters with practical knowledge of dealing with emergency situations.  Training is conducted with the latest techniques and technology and is delivered in a safe and controlled environment.  This allows trainees to receive the maximum benefit from their training should it be required in a real life situation.

Training is delivered in a variety of training simulators and where realistic fire scenarios are created to simulate emergency situations.  Our ability to develop and change scenarios means that we can offer training to meet the demands of varied industries, for example Offshore Energy, Maritime and Petrochemical.

Training is conducted to OPITO standards for the offshore sector and for the maritime industries advanced and basic programmes to SCTW 95 standards.

In addition basic fire fighting courses are provided for onshore customers covering topics such as fire safety awareness and fire warden training.
